Books
Redeeming Fear (2010)
My first book following my doctoral work and my only published theological work. Redeeming Fear explores the relationship between fear and hope. Drawing on process theology, psychology, neuroscience, and lived experience, it offers an honest look at fear—not as weakness, but as part of what it means to be a human who’s trying to make sense of the world.
Pickleball with Purpose (2026)
At first glance, pickleball may seem like an odd place to look for meaning. Like many worthwhile things, it has a way of revealing our habits, relationships, frustrations, and hopes. Pickleball with Purpose explores what the game can teach us about presence, resilience, and the way we move through the world. It’s about sport, yes, but also about becoming.
Tactical Reflection (forthcoming)
Tactical Reflection is a guided 90-day journal for people who do not naturally love journaling (like myself). It begins with structured prompts that help us identify feelings, thoughts, and body sensations, then gradually builds toward greater flexibility, pattern recognition, and intentional change. Rather than asking for instant depth or polished insight, the journal teaches us what to notice and how to reflect with more honesty. It is not therapy or magic, just a low-pressure, structured tool for paying better attention to daily life.
Level Up (forthcoming)
Level Up is a guided 90-day journal for teens who want to learn how to understand their feelings, reactions, and the person they are becoming. It starts with simple prompts that help us notice emotions, thoughts, and body signals, then builds toward recognizing patterns, handling stress, and practicing better responses. The journal gives teens a low-pressure way to reflect on school, family, friendships, overwhelm, and everyday life without needing perfect words or polished insight.
